Prayer

According to the New Testament, Jesus Christ taught his Apostles the Lord’s Prayer as a guidance of how to pray.

I always feel so peaceful with this piece of prayer. But from some days ago, I start feeling shameful whenever I say it. “Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.”. I am not able to do it, My Father. When I’m getting older, I hold everything so tightly that I cannot let go. I am ashamed of myself.

The silence in Your home inspires me. People come into the church; say a prayer to ask for something. But you remind that beyond the wall of this church, I should be content and thankful for everything you have already given me out there. Jesus Christ you shows me miracles on every Christmas. I want a peaceful and simple life. “Do not bring us to the test, But deliver us from evil.”

My Father, give me a direction. I’m lost.

Our Father in Heaven, Holy be your name, Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us today our daily bread, Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
Do not bring us to the test, But deliver from evil,
Amen.
