Teppei

Went to the galllery of Teppei Sasakura, a Japanese modern artist. I don't know much about his background, nor do I know what is the theme of his art. But his paintings have an unknown force to draw me closer.

I was first attracted to this painting when I saw it in Odaiba. It's called Dream Escape. Most pictures of Teppei are full of dreams, worlds within his frame are wondrous, filled up with happiness and warmth. You can see people are looking up at the sky, where the dream-like light comes from. I can only relate this to Disney in the reality.
Most of his paintings are basically scenery in Europe, somewhere that you can't exactly name it. But for this one I saw in the gallery, it resembles the Charle's bridge in Prague. Is it really Prague? I don't know, but I think it's in dream, everyone's dream.
Romance and relaxation, that's what I can see from his pictures, and from his pictures reflect my dream.
