Shepherd and the Gate

We are the sheep. We are called by the Shepherd to get through the Gate back to the sheepfold.

The Shepherd looks after us, call us back from before the dark falls; the Gate keeps us away from the bad outside.

This Gate keeps the sheep safe, but if any lost sheep outside would like to be one of the herd, the Gate is always open.

Even though we are inside the Gate, still we are sometimes tempted to get away when the Shepherd is off-guard. He is never off-guard, He is patient and keeps on calling us back. The Gate is always open for us.

This is the Gate which reminds us where should we stay.

Let this Gate be in our hearts always.
