The definition of the Kingdom of Heaven is different depends on different belief. The happiness of discovering your own heaven is just like discovering the treasure or precious pearl, as described in the parable, that makes us willing to sacrifice everything for it.
Solomon asked of the peacefulness of His people, not of his own. Young Solomon wanted to learn how to serve, but not to be served as king. The greatest should be the lowest, the highest should bow to serve but not be served. This love driven thought of him drew God's pleasure as loving each other with genuine heart, was fully demonstrated.
