Beloved:
Bear you share of hardship for the gospel with the strength that comes from God.
He save us and called us t a holy life, not according to our works but according to his own design
and the grace bestowed on us in Christ Jesus before time began, but now made manifest through the appearance of our savior Christ Jesus, who destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light through the Gospel.

We are called from the very beginning and our answer to the call is being waited for long. Life full of temptation is enduring it takes us much effort to be consistently faithful, willing to sacrifice our own self, as an instrument of Christian love. Desire is pervasive, but love is everywhere if we stretch to touch and give.
