What would you do, if you were chained to a pipe with a saw on your hand, while you were threatened to kill someone in the same position as you, with a gun held by a dead body between two of you?

Last weekend I watched a DVD – SAW 1.

It was out a few years ago but I didn’t watch it that time. I am not very into horror theme and also this film was promoted as a low budget production in 18 days.

It proved to me that my perception is wrong. It is one of the best plots of thriller I have ever seen.

Even though the skill of filming is a bit amateur-like, its pace and story telling method put audience into the position as a detective and draws you to every layer of the web-like mystery. Every single character and everything shown up in the movie are tightly linked, there were a lot of ‘that’s why’ coming up from my mind during the one and a half hour.

Can’t wait to see SAW 2 & 3. Heard that series 4 is coming this year too?
