Fertile crescent along two rivers in the Middle East, once was defined as the Eden Garden at Genesis age.
Whenever read these two words, mythical thoughts come up and I start fantasizing people in Mesopotamia. It was supposed to be the land from where biblical stories began, and around these two river, lead us to the Promise Land entrusted upon Abraham.
A place flow with honey and milk, a place between two rivers.
I do want to take a look at these two rivers.
But they now fall into the world’s most dangerous place and not many people can get any closer, not to mention if there’s any honey and milk left. Look at this crescent now, nothing close to anything as a worldly heaven. Peace was once there, thousands years ago.
Reading a book called Walk the Bible, author went through the Middle East to search for the root of a book that imprinted in his heart. He is not searching for proof of anything that had happened, he was just trying to feel what million of people are reading. Worth to read.
