Today’s gospel is one of my favourite chapters.
We are happy and young and the destination is still far, that’s what people always think. Someone has already gone long ago to prepare that still-far-away destination for us.
Nonetheless, we are in fact not going anywhere. So where did that person go?
He goes to our hearts. Our destination, is always with us. How often do we listen and feel our heartbeat to feel his existence?
He goes to our hearts to prepare our relationship with him. And what he does to us, we are expected to do the same to each other. Going to each other’s heart, feel each other’s innermost feelings to build up a relationship.
What’s the name of such kind of relationship?
