“Then repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God.”
This is one of the wisest answers that Jesus had given to the Pharisees.
Pay what belong to whoever gives that to us. Love those who love us. To go further, we love God coz He loves us, and that is why we repay by loving each other as it is what God commands. We forgive people as if God has forgiven us. We act in accordance with His words, which is the centre of our lives.
We are all bound by His great love, as we can feel it, through our families, beloved ones, friends, and any other acquaintances.
The so called international mass was not international at all, with all Filipino songs dominating the mass schedule and with due respect, all I could do was to keep silent and hold prayers in my heart.
While an African priest out of nowhere who didn't know what he had to say but just wandered among people yelling slogans, without preaching today's gospel. I wonder where on earth have they been trained how to celebrate Sunday's mass, as it is not merely a proclamation of faith by shouting Amen Amen aimlessly. I guess it wouldn't stop if Father Leo wasn't dressing up as celebrate and come to the middle of the altar to signal him to stop.
The best, was the time when children from Sunday school came up to sing two psalms. Children's voice, is in fact angel's voice, it is ever the most soul soothing sweet voice.
