Muji home

New fridge and microwave oven arrived this morning. My home is further migrated into a 99% Muji model home.

This fridge is a bit large for myself, and it definitely will trigger me to buy more to fill it up, e.g. ice-cream. Got three new flavours of Haagen-Dazs:

Gateau au Chocolat
Maple cookies
English tea

Of course can't ignore a few cups of fruit jelly on discount.

This oven, or microwave, or microwave oven may become my new toy this winter. Feel a bit aged to see so many buttons on it, with a sensor on weight and size of food to automatically calculate how much time and heat it needs, and also with various functions of grill, bake, boil......the happiest thing is, finally I can have toast for breakfast.

Can't believe I am really studying the manual now. Hm, tonight's special is grilled seafood macaroni. Let's see.

First let's see how's the pumpkin cookie going. Oh, taste great!

maple cookies!

i'm quite against microwave oven though it's super-convenient. we don't have it at home and we're quite happy about that :P

btw, hope u don't mind the "self-invitation" to visit here.

Yeah! I haven't tried them yet coz I have too many desserts in my fridge now.

why you are against microwave oven? I'm going to bake yuzu pepper chicken wings tonight!

Sure, please come more, though I'm not updating too often...

No microwave oven in my home either.

maple cookies? The one sold in muji with maple-syrup-flavour filling between two small pieces of biscuits? I love it.

(urgh... blogger ate my earlier comment. so you might get a duplicate)

haha... you sure have the sweet tooth. i don't really like dessert but i had the kokuta & kuromitsu flavour today. it's ok but the K&K chunks didn't really stand out so i was a little disappointed.

don't really know why but i always have the silly idea that my hand might get cooked if i open the door too soon to get the food out. :P

another reason is that the heated food always get cold very quickly so i didn't like it. (and it's rather hard and the outside gets burnt v easily.) maybe the newer generation of the oven would do a better job in this aspect.

To Guy:

maple cookies is a new flavour of Haagen Daz, it may not be available in HK so dont' envy me.

To lu:

That brown sugar one is a bit too sweet for me. Among all I like...vanilla flavour.

Hot food always get cold too quick if I don't eat in a room with the heater on.
