So in fact they meant, 'Can you get your butt off?'
OK. =(

Finally it was 7pm when Mr Otaku rushed to the party place downstairs and he was just thinking to stay no more than 30 minutes. After saying greetings to the host, he grabbed a can of coke, some snacks, he followed his boss to a bar table, where some people gathered.
At first, Mr Otaku was still able to catch up on and off at the table with his boss around. When boss went to pour his 2nd drink, Mr Otaku tried to continue the chat with two girls but only got some ok-yes-ok-yes replies. Those two girls said to each other, 'Why don't we go and get some more food?' Then they left the table. Others were also going, scattered.
Mr Otaku, was the only one left at the table.
He lowered his head, speeded up to finish his plate, while mumbling he shouldn't have got so much food.
People around kept in tight small groups without any space to get in. So Mr Otaku waved goodbye to some and hardly hearing any replies, he left the hall. He stayed for only 10 minutes.

Mr Otaku doesn't mean to be so otaku but he feels relieved when he had a bento at home.
Mr Otaku doesn't mean not to be a loser but he is losing, or simply does not have any confidence in socializing with people, especially girls who mostly never give him an eye. =(
